About Me.

Hi, I’m Laura, the proud owner and baker at Pinders Patisserie, based in the beautiful town of Midhurst in the heart of the South Downs. I am a trained Chef specialising in all things sweet, and I pride myself on using the best quality ingredients, as fresh as possible, to create Celebration cakes, Wedding cakes, Afternoon teas, Sweet treats and more.

Experience

1990's

Early Beginnings

My love for cooking began at a very young age, helping with family meals and eventually taking over from my mum, who hung up her own chef’s apron after having children.

2000's

Training &

Professional experience

That passion led me to study hospitality and catering in my hometown of Swindon before moving on to an apprenticeship at my first restaurant – Colleys. After working in several restaurants and gaining experience, I eventually stepped away from restaurant life to focus on raising my own children and pursuing what I truly love: baking.

Now

Pinders Patisserie

Now I have set up my own business, Pinders Patisserie, here in Midhurst. I’ve spent years perfecting my recipes to bring you the most incredible delights. I’ve also taken specialist courses in allergens, food hygiene and management, so I can be confident that everything I make is done to the highest standard. Being a home baker lets me balance my family and make everything else I do to the best of my ability.
